Everyone, regardless of race, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation and culture, deserves the opportunity to be as healthy as possible. Yet, it is widely recognized that certain groups lack equal access to healthcare, or, even when given access, consistently receive worse health outcomes. The Health Equity committee will research, propose and pursue policies to ensure all patients receive equitable care of the highest quality in the Brigham and Women’s Hospital Community.
